My mum got a new samsung phone should she fully charge it before using it or use the factory charge up first?
The last time I got a new phone I got it straight from the phone shop and was told by a staff member to use the factory charge before fully charging it but my mums new phone says nothing about charge times or anything in the handbook?

I work for a major cell phone company and we recommend to all our customers to use the factory battery first, then charge it fully. From then on forward, you should run the battery completely down before charging it back up. It does help the life of the phone to do this...but to be completely honest with you...not by much. shhh...dont tell them I told you!
