My parents wont let me have a cell phone. Help?
Im in my first year of middle school. Ive asked my sister if I can have a cell phone but she says to ask my mom.

Ask very very nicely. Be ready to accept a negative answer too. Parents can sense when you are trying to manipulate them. So go in with a neutral tone. Do present the safety thing, as well as the idea of a prepaid phone so that they do not have to worry about going over minutes. Also, try to work out an agreement...like if they want to monitor your calls and see who you are talking to. Just be ready for negotiation.
